We delivered a workshop on Contemporary Research Practices for lecturers and students at Takoradi Technical University (TTU) in May 2022. The 5-day face-to-face intensive workshop took place at the University’s Auditorium and was well attended by the University’s teaching & administrative staff and students. The training workshop was in two phases, with the first phase targeting the lecturers and the second phase focusing on the students. All sessions were delivered in person by the facilitators except for one topic, Advanced Qualitative Research, which was delivered via zoom by Prof Gillian Yeowell from Manchester Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom. In addition, discussion and practical segments were incorporated into the sessions for participants to ask questions and contribute to the training through role-playing.
